A simple trap, which works with pistons. If you touch a pressure plate, the adjacent pistons are extended, so that you can no longer get out of the middle. For this there is also a layer of blocks above the construction, so that you can not jump.
Of course you could, but why should you? With command blocks you can kill the player right away or give him so much slowdown that he can't move anymore.
@xxluke Suggestion for improvement: put the pistons a block further down and put a block on top and make the ceiling still fences down rioters you think that should only be a small roof to put under it
The trap works. As it should.
there is a trick to getting out. stand in one eche and jump into another.
You can also jump over the pressure plates
You can also set the pistons one deeper and then set the blocks from the surrounding area ex: Sand
is that a generation error in the background?
No, I just flattened an area in a normal world with MCEdit and made it out of sandstone.
Looks great, makes you want to run right in 😀
I have also built in a house around it when you run in, you fall right into the trap.
Really nasty, this ruin!!!! But is a cool idea
why is the ruin mean?
cool, but can you actually do it with command blocks?

genaaaauuuu!
There is already such a piston trap, but a watchtower with living quarters of mine was rejected... -.-
@Luckyluke: This idea is from 2013-03-15. Where has there been a trap like this before?
Cool. You could just get kicked out, right?

you can jump over it very easily and it is very open visibly you should decorate it a bit and put half blöck on it like Mucha Met
