A lift which transports items that have been put in at the bottom to the top.

At the opening at the bottom you have to throw in an item or you connect a water flow, which flushes items into the opening. Then you press the button and first the opening is closed, then the items are pushed upwards, whereby they automatically come up through the blocks.

The picture explains most of it. The column to the top is simply a + of blocks. It doesn't matter which blocks it is. In the picture, the front blocks are only glass, so you can see that the column is completely filled.
In an automatic system, you can use [[trip wire]] to check if an item has entered the system.
To send the items at the top further, you just have to place a source block on the middle of the column, which you then direct in any direction.
