That certainly fits well if you have a coast with cliffs or so. Since I do not have access to the sea, I can not use it at the moment, but the idea I have not seen anywhere else (but have not looked for it 😉 )

Hakler you can also put it in a desert if you have a story to it e.g.: this ship is stranded because the global warming has evaporated the water here =D
