Using a web page, you can generate a command that generates a statue of a skin.
Instructions:
With the help of this page: http://statue.jespertheend.comyou can generate a skin statue/NPC from each skin! (Unfortunately this statue only looks to the south :D)
Just type in a name or upload a skin, choose the size (Big=big, almost twice the size of a normal statue, Small=small, player size), hit the "GO" button, and the magic happens!
Then in a command block (/give name command_block) paste the resulting code, power the command block and the spell is done! A skin statue!
Remove the statue with "/kill @e[type=ArmorStand,r=2]". when you are standing in the statue.

i think this is more of a medium effort since you have to enter this long code and especially it should be building ideas that are posted on this page so i find this rather inappropriate
but the effort must still be rewarded

just copy and then CTRL+V into the commandBlock 🙂

Times to all: I have now tested it on very many PC's with several skins (Even yours!) And in 1.8.0-1.8.3. It always worked for me...

Sorry but with me it works only half. It creates the skin for me, the shape is also correct. But the whole consists only of the heads of the standard skins of Steve and Alex were put together.
