A burning stove that does not burn surrounding wood despite the fire.
take a frame, place any item in it and build the stove around it out of bricks or any other material (shape of the stove doesn't matter), now take a bow with the enchantment flame and shoot an arrow at the frame, the item will disappear and a fire that doesn't go out will be left with the frame as the only one. This fire will not ignite any nearby wood or other flammable materials. the surrounding space can be shaped as you wish.
Sounds good, but I heard that the fire goes out as soon as you reload the world. Did you check it out?
But you can also just take Netherrack and make fire spread out. But still good idea!
Additionally, if you shoot the frame, it goes away.

I mean if you put water under the burning block eg. Netherrack water sets should not spread the fire. (With me it has always worked so far).
