There is a fence gate under the door and carpet, allowing you to control access without a visible door.
This "door" can only be opened by pressing a lever, button, etc....
It is particularly well suited for adventure maps.
Instructions:
1. build frame (height: 3 block, width: 3 block)
2. dig a hole underneath the frame, then place a redstone and a fence gate

3. set a button above the redstone and put a carpet on the fence gate
4. now just adjust the environment so that you only see the frame, the carpet and the button.

Of course, you can also build a long redstone circuit and put the button / lever further away (e.g. in a cave or something).

For example, on an adventruemap, if you want players to go through that door, it's a good idea to "block off" the path with barriers.

And what is the advantage over a normal iron door?
Because with this one, you can't get hit by arrows.
Well it is as I said actually only deco because you can not see the door yes
In a adventurmap I have once geschpiel something similar occurred and I have not found the button so I just smashed the block above. Therefore, it offers to work the whole thing into a Grungesteinsraum since you can not break this in suvival yes.
So from me gives a big fat like
Real new there is already since there is redstone and fence gates
@Patrick1234 A bedrock room doesn't make sense there either, since you just have to take down the fence.
And isn't the point of an adventure map that you can't just randomly destroy all the blocks?
It's been known to happen...
It's been uploaded twice.
Good idea! I really like it!
I don't need that now, but I think it's a good idea. If you do not want to use doors just on principle, it is definitely a nice alternative.
