A tutorial for a hidden chest. This can be especially useful on multiplayer servers to protect yourself from griefers.
You need:
-Güterlore
-rail
-Blocks
-block to serve as camouflage
-normal (!) piston
-Redstone Torch
You start by placing a goods lorry on a block and then dismantling that block.
Now the goods wagon sits on the ground. Now you can build a wall or something else around it with any blocks.
Then you build up three blocks behind the lorry and put a normal piston on the top block with the "pressure side" down to the lorry. Above the lore you now place any block, which should serve as camouflage... Now power the piston with a redstone flare and dismantle the piston.

unfortunately I could not upload any pictures because the resolution was too high
Sorry, but without more pictures I don't really understand the idea yet.
The idea is good, but I have too little imagination to build it....
Could you please add some more pictures?
Thanks in advance.
^^
This idea is well known.
Can you maybe take some pictures of the steps, so it's easier to see how it's meant 😉
Hee-hee-hee,
I don't really understand it right now. Why should you first activate the piston with the Redstone flare and then immediately dismantle it again.
Pictures would be really beneficial here - https://minecraft-bauideen.de/attach
I join bone keyboard XD
yep, with pictures vlt a like 😀
I don't really understand it,
But pictures to explain would be nice.
Achs, I think I got it; you push down a block from the top that the lore stays in the block XD
How about... "Check out this page, it's already got the idea but with pictures."
->Wasn't there a bookcase with a hidden chest? Or generally a hidden chest?
Can you put in a few more screens? Without screens, the idea is not to understand...
sorry somehow I can not find the more ... have made the 3 times and can not find it!
It worked for me without any problems. Is a nice idea 😉 The Lore is at the end in the block, so is a glitch.
wow finally someone who gets it 🙂
Idea is well known, I myself have often used, but this tutorial is (in my opinion) quite understandable and your implementation well done. For the variants that I knew until now, about a thousand auxiliary blocks and steps would be needed, here it runs almost without.
HUH?
You push a block from the top into the goods trolley, so that the goods trolley is inside the blog. Then you can use the block as a chest when you have dismantled the piston.
