This device manages to teleport animals.
With the machine on the picture you can "teleport" animals (unfortunately only white sheep and pigs so far).
Here's how it works:
If in point A
If you spawn a sheep or a pig and pull the lever, it will be killed. The next step is to analyse the dropped item to see what kind of animal it is.
Now a signal to point B
is directed. A white sheep or a pig is now spawned there.
-> The animal was "teleported".
Well, why are there only sheep and pigs now?
There's exactly one reason for that:
- If an animal drops more than one item, some of them will be smoothed out by the iron or they will get into the hoppers twice (e.g. meat, as pigs etc. can drop more than one meat), which leads to the casters at point B being permanently powered up, and the "teleporting" not working anymore
Therefore, when teleporting pigs, dropping multiple items can cause problems with the item catcher (the funnels).
This version is therefore updated by me from time to time.
If any of you are interested and would like to improve the teleporter, that would be a great help. Some info on this in the comments wouldn't be bad.
Instructions:
A manual makes no sense here, because the machine is simply too complicated for that. To be able to rebuild it anyway, a Mediafire download link follows this text.Optionally, the teleporter can be equipped with Wireless Redstone to avoid the long cables from point A to point B.
The teleporter for download
Another important hint: You need Minecraft version 1.7.1/2 to edit the teleporter, because pack ice was used to build it!
How about trying it with zombies (without armor of course!)?
I think I already have an idea for pretty much all the species/monsters. I'll try that out this afternoon.
how to upload
You need to register with a site, such as Mediafire, and then you can upload files.
In 1.8 there is also the possibility to teleport certain types of entities to a point. The only disadvantage: Then e.g. ALL pigs in the world are teleported to this point...
I think in a few versions that won't be a problem either, but we'll see. The post is already a while old...
SHEEP MUST NOT BE KILLED !!!!!!
Um, just r=3 or something! This construction is unnecessary
