I don't think it's that bad.
Looks a lot like an Arab house.
I would rather replace the plaid carpet with a normal red the shape and color so that it is plaid for me unfortunately rather inappropriate yet good
If you had maybe made an EtAge with red tension cloths where boxes are below it would look even better
