This construction can be used to camouflage a cave entrance that is only visible at night (or during the day).
Instructions:
If you arrange the sticky pistons as shown and connect them to a daylight sensor, the access will only stay open during the day or at night (depending on the sensor setting). This is what the "wiring" looks like from behind:

So in the mountain:

So hidden:

And again in the opened state:

Cool idea, but I think the cave entrance is still relatively conspicuous, even if it is closed 😀
I didn't disguise it well enough.
But I didn't fully explore the possibilities either, you're right.
Hidden inputs are now nothing new. The day / night sensor makes the whole but rather bad. You can always see when he is standing around somewhere.
Not so unimaginative... - with foliage you can also camouflage a sensor without limiting its function.
This is simply the JEB "door" with a lchtsensort instead of a switch ^^

I didn't have a template for this - it just came to me. It's almost logical that I'm not the first to come up with this idea.
This is eig. the same as opening hours of xxluke only halt with Pistons.
Well, just because of the daylight sensor doesn't make it the same....
Hey the book I also have!;)And as far as I know are pulled away at the JEB door da.noch pistons so just not kinked.
Idea well, but why are you building it so huge?
You can build it smaller, of course, but I had the idea in the back of my head that it would completely cover/uncover a Nether Portal.
well with the JEB door you need 12 sticky pistons and the stones are pulled back and then pistons + stones pulled to the side again so that you have a 2 wide EIngang
