It's cool, but I would have decorated it more with some nice stuff like wither skulls or natherrack or just nethersteins.

There are trees growing on the hill, they just weren't big yet...
I would have made the mountain look more natural (the mountain rises too steeply and unnaturally in my opinion) and decorated more inside, but the idea is good.
But so was the first implementation.
It's a pyramid with two strips of lava running down it.
well that's how temples look in most cases
