This idea shows a medieval sawmill at a lake.

Next to the sawmill there is a storage area for logs. These can be lifted into the sawmill with the help of a crane.

Here you can see the sawmill from the inside. The saw is raised and lowered by pressing the lever. The associated redstone circuit is very complicated. If there is interest, we would upload the construction as a Youtube video, because screenshots would not be sufficient.

There is a living area on the upper floors.
