Really simple, but ingenious!
My variant: (a bit expensive)
1. place a launcher in the ground pointing upwards
2.Fill with water bottles
3.put any block on it
4.place switches on the block
5.Beacon on it (Depends on the recourcepack if you do that) or a block of ice π .
