This is a Redstone lantern that is activated and deactivated fully automatically.

Instructions:

First you build fence or walls 3 or 4 blocks high. Then on the top wall (fence) comes a Redstoneblock. On this Redstone block now come walls (fences) on all 4 sides. On the walls (fences) again come Redstone lamps. Then the Redstoneblock is removed again, in order to place better the sticky piston in such a way that it can extend downward thus toward the soil! If the piston is then placed the Redstoneblock can be attached again. Finally, the daylight sensor is placed on top of the piston. You can still replace the walls (fences) at the Redstoneblock with steps as in the picture and you can also place steps on top of the lamps!
