These gutters are used for drainage of gardens, parks and other facilities.
Very easy to build:
Dig a small trench, put water in it and then add trap doors as a cover on top, doesn't matter if you take the wooden trap doors or the iron trap doors 😀.

PS: You can sometimes see these gullies on dirt roads in forests or even on some roads 😉
If I did, I'd put the trap doors at the bottom.
And I wouldn't call it a gutter, because a gutter is the thing at the top of the roof. I'd rather call it a "channel" or "gutter", still Like.
I changed it @Karl31a, but there are also rain gutters in the ground, at least I saw once 😀.
Okay, is new to me that the parts are called rain gutter. According to Wikipedia, a rain gutter is just the thing on the roof ;P.
