Use Minecraft Heads as decoration

With this trick you can use heads as decorations.

Actually no building idea but since many of you would like to decorate their rooms in more detail and I also discovered this trick only recently, I would like to share it with you here.
Surely you know that you can place heads almost anywhere, on armor stands, and put them in frames, and of course put them on yourself. But what you probably don't know is that there are a few databases on the internet where you can get specially designed heads for decorations.
Here are just a few examples:

Choose a head that you want to use as decoration and you will get an order that looks like this:

Copy it and paste it into the chat. Voila: You have the respective head in your inventory and can use it like any other head.
Whether as equipment for your house, signposts, signs or to surprise people with a special headgear ... There are no limits to your creativity. The heads also remain so and do not change afterwards.

If the search on these websites is too cumbersome and you own a server, there are also some plugins that show the heads even in the game in a menu and pack them into the inventory with a click.

Here I would like to recommend a plugin which costs 5$ but gives a lot of pleasure on our server:

It is in my opinion the best, because it even offers a search and new heads are automatically added to the database and much more.
However, there are also some free alternatives.

    /give @p minecraft:skull 1 3 {SkullOwner:NAME}
    That's the command. And not what you're writing.

    And sorry but anyone who buys a plugin for this should not be running a Minecraft server. :silly:

    The heads change by the way very well when the user changes his Minecraft skin, so the head gets namely his appearance. There are some of Mojang secured but blanket to say that the appearance does not change is stupid sorry. Likewise, all heads become Steve heads if the login servers once again not funzen because then no skin information can be retrieved.

    In the TooManyItems mod, by the way, there are the heads completely without command, just enter Minecraft username and you have the head.

  5. @picasso22: Please take the trouble and read everything before you complain: It's not just about a command but the possibility to use heads for decorations that were created specifically for this. And no: These do NOT change, because they are not heads of other players, but they are defined by the value. If you can't do anything with it, it's okay. But I think many others might be happy about this trick, even if it is not a building idea.

  6. By the way, the tip also works only since 1.8 Maybe your ignorance is based on it 😉
    And of course it works without a plugin but for the USER of a server it is a nice tool to find a nice decoration directly in the game without searching and copy&paste.
