A detailed example of a modern 3-4 star hotel room with bathroom.

1) Automatic card lock:
According to a principle already present on this page -> https://minecraft-bauideen.de/817-Kartenschloss
The card contains the room number and a bar code. The lock is adjusted to this barcode and can therefore only be opened with the card.
After opening the door, the card moves to the inside of the room.
Disadvantage: for reasons of space, the door opens only very briefly, so a replacement card should be available at the reception.
2) Automatic shower
A piston door opens when the wooden button is pressed.
If one runs into the shower, one presses thereby the pressure plate, which lets come down first a short water surge and opens afterwards the door again. The relatively simple construction is completely evident from the pictures.
3) Automatic lighting
can be switched on and off via a switch on the wall. Depending on how close the rooms are, attention must be paid to the space.

Yes the shower is a bit big, it also goes smaller, but then you have the problem that you can no longer get off the pressure plate and then either the bathroom is flooded or you have to get out of the shower quickly to not get stuck forever. And in the double hotel room does not hurt a spacious shower 😉

the shower offers 2x2 blocks of space inside and is 3x3 blocks wide in total.

I really like it VERY much, because it is really detailed! The pillows are also awesome!

@thebigsmile: With the pillows, I thought about it for a really long time until I came to do it that way. Accordingly, I'm very pleased that it arrives. In fact, it's surprising to see that most people don't seem to like the idea itself, but rather the little things in the implementation. 🙂
@FatsackLP: are you referring to the shower circuit?
There are certainly more space-saving methods / ways to wire that, I honestly did not pay attention because it was more important to me that everything is recognizable on the screen. And I do not force you to take over my circuit xD
(which, by the way, I also "made myself", which is why it can certainly still be optimized).
P.S. If you have a nice alternative but post it here, then everyone has something from it.
How did you do the bar code on the card lock?
It's just a combination of exclamation points, hyphens and colons. I thought that was nicer than any number or letter code.

Yes the hotel room complete with key cards etc. is already quite elaborate. But you can also take smaller ideas from it and perhaps incorporate them into an already existing hotel room.

You have to come up with the decoration first! I always used a kettle with a trap door on top for a toilet. But this one looks even more real. PS: I built a big hotel, 42 of these rooms in a quarter of a year. But, what the heck: Like from me!
