This elevator flings you up to the next floor. Pistons are used in combination with redstone and a slime block. Use this elevator when your floors are each 3 blocks high.

somehow I do not see the unterscxhied / advantage in contrast to the supplement...
@0815julian The main difference is that the floors in my edition are only 3 blocks high. In the main idea, they are 4 blocks high.
Also, my build is a little more compact (1 less block in depth).
