A suitable building for all those who want to democratically regulate the fate of their server together with other players.
The screenshot shows only the meeting room of the building. Only indistinctly visible at the edge is that there are other rooms, namely:
- Viewing level for visitors
- offices
- secretariat
- canteen
- Room for press conferences
- Room for security
- toilets
If you want to know what the rest of the building looks like in detail, you can watch the following Youtube video where I take a tour of the building: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vmjQYAmnJQY
What are the chests for?
@HansiFamily
They are there so that MPs, players who sit in there, can keep notes or other parts of their inventory in them, for example. In a real parliament, people also have space for files.
After all, I built the whole thing so that it could actually have practical application on a larger server.
What have you tried to rebuild. I'm doing something similar, I build the large chamber and the Stöckli.
The idea is good and new, construction-wise you could still polish it a bit.
you could also set up that the carriers are connected with funnels and you put certain items in them for example yes carrot no potato and infinity and that can be counted with a chest
@Michael8786 That would actually be a very viable idea to do a voting procedure via redstone mechanics.
You might need that if you play on larger servers. I've only ever played on small servers with friends and of course voice voting over Skype is enough. But I am always open to suggestions for improvement.
good idea style goes like this
might not have used oak
still like
A very good idea for a parliament building, you succeeded very well in terms of design! Like!
With the roof a little confusing, in addition I like https://minecraft-bauideen.de/1855-Hoher-Rat ...the High Council is a little better.
@thebigsmileXD The high council is just very outdated and therefore meant for medieval worlds. A parliament should belong in a modern world.
Good idea
Could you also build a more medieval (rustic) conference hall sometime?
(Chandeliers, dark wood, opaque walls...)
Good idea I have only one suggestion you could make the flags to the respective countries😉
