Small old half-timbered village with town hall

Cosy village with town hall.

If you don't know what to build, you can always start a new project.

Instructions:

It's hard to write instructions for this structure, but I'll give it a try. The first thing to do is to make the floor out of boards. The best is a square with the dimensions 21x21 blocks. As 2nd you put on every 4th block a trunk which is approx. 11 blocks high. In the middle of the height you build cross beams which serve as support. Fill the holes with boards. Along the cross beams you build the 1st floor (or the bottom of it). Build the roof like a "normal" pointed roof, but leave the front and back straight. Then you build the wooden beams up to the roof. Then you fill up the front and back with boards. You build the town hall clock out of quartz blocks and steps and wither skulls. That was the very rough explanation.

  4. Of course, the village is not so prickelnd. The idea with the half-timbered houses but not so bad. So no reason only to hate.
    On top of that, it's not mined anywhere.

  7. adrikum, the implementation is just bad. The idea is also nothing new, half-timbered houses you see on about every Survival / CityBuild server. But the description is the worst "Everything I unfortunately could not describe" he has only described a wall. That is simply pointless.

    I admit, you got me with that one. It made me laugh.

  9. I see some good approaches here (on closer inspection, the town hall definitely has something going for it, although I'd like to see a more detailed description/pictures of it) but on the whole I have to agree with the previous speakers.
    Half-timbered houses there are already enough here, 3 houses a Village to call is excessive and write in the "manual", you could (or wanted to) go over everythingIt's like a book report in school where you don't want to give away the ending so that others can read it, but you're just too lazy to finish the thing.

    Instead of building the whole thing in a flat world, it would have looked better in a normal world (e.g. meadow or forest) and I also like the town hall (as mentioned before), but since the idea is to build the Village and the implementation leaves a lot to be desired, I give it a Dislike!
    P.S. sorry for the rant, I just felt like it ^^

  10. It would be nice if you had taken some screenshots of the house (eg:back,sides and front) to rebuild :ermm:
    And as the others have said: it's not a village. But because of that you should not give a Dislike. 😉
