I got the idea from the following video:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F1R3pGDS-wABut then I developed the idea further and simplified it a lot.Advantages:

1. This lift is very quiet because it is activated once for a stack of items only and not 64 times like itemlifts with droppers.
2. The lift does not cause lag.
3. It's easy and quick to build (you don't even have to go to the nether to find quartz for comparators).
4. It can transport large quantities at once.

To rebuild, just use the picture as a template, both pistons are sticky by the way.
