Automatic sugar cane farm

This farm automatically harvests sugar cane without you having to do anything yourself.

The switch extends the pistons, which push the middle piece of sugar cane towards the water. There it is then collected at a point and can be collected automatically, e.g. with a funnel. Instead of a switch you can also use a daylight sensor, so that the cane is harvested automatically every day, even if you are not there (but you should build it in a way that the cobs only extend once and don't prevent the plants from growing the whole day. You can do this like here make).
Since the lowest piece of sugar cane remains, it grows back on its own.
The top block of a fully grown plant is not pushed by a piston, so it often falls in the wrong direction and is not transported away. You could also use a second cob for it, but that requires significantly more cobs and redstone, so it's more worth it if you just make the plant twice as long, because then you need less redstone.

Unfortunately, most of it falls on the pistons and not in the water wink.png[/quote]

I have built one myself in survival mode, with sticky pistons and a block of dirt in front of it, so that nothing gets stuck in the pistons, opposite is a wall, so that everything gets into the water flow and is transported via funnels into a chest. Is very handy as there is no loss then. I have also done this with a daylight sensor.

  2. ARE YOU SERIOUS?!?!?!? MAN IT'S SEMI AUTOMATIC!!!! You can clearly see a button in the picture. If you can't handle terms like that, you shouldn't!
