Both doors open when a single pressure plate is entered.
Instructions:
This is what the whole layout looks like without the fairing. On both sides the layout is the same. On which level the amplifiers are doesn't matter, also what kind of blocks, doors and pressure plates you use. The rest should be self-explanatory ;)

Och please not :'( As if 99% of the other ideas would not already exist on the net, you can not take that as an argument. Besides, many do not know the Minecraft wiki and know this idea vllt also not.

You may not need this idea but it always annoys me when I have to run through the middle of double doors so that I don't get stuck on one of them. How can you make this easier?

Why build a double door if you're only going to use one door anyway?

I think you misunderstood me. I want a double door but if you just use two push plates or buttons then only 1 goes open. But I want them both to open, so I'm using this mechanism.
