You can use such a glass heart as a wall replacement or as decoration.

In survival mode the glass heart is hard to build because you have to make the glass first and then color it.

Instructions:

First you build a row of white glass blocks. Then you build a heart shape out of black glass and fill it with red glass. Finally you build a frame around the glass heart and it's done.
