After that you remove the random block and put the dispenser for it,So last you put the pressure plate in front of the fridge and put a meat in the dropper.
As a fridge=not good since a fridge is a decorative item. As a trap with poisoning potions in multiplayer=Good
for a refrigerator an iron door would be more suitable than a picture

For a pure cooler I take 2 iron blocks and slap iron doors on it. Easier and faster.
