By using two pistons, the front block is pushed forward two blocks.
Instructions:
Build two pistons or sticky pistons in a row and add two repeaters. The one on the first piston with delay level 2and the one on the 2nd piston with the highest deceleration level.
Add the following Redstone line:
The lever too, of course ;).
Now add the block you want to push as well.

The piston double extender is mostly needed to a 3×3 piston gate. If you find other useful mechanisms with it tell me would love to leak it 🙂

Yes only I have at the moment the 1.5.2 because there is some error. The beetroot is from the Chocobo mod 🙂

I'm sure the piston double extender looks wonderful in an elevator.
I will eventually plan an elevator at my place that uses this system.
With multiple pistons, though. Good idea!
Beetroot has recently become available in MCPE. (Minecraft Pocket Edition)

The circuit seems to be wrong, you need to put the repeater one block further so that
the piston pushes.
With me it funzt. May be that you have too many mods or play on a newer version. I currently on the 1.5.2 but one of my buddies has the 1.8.1 and with him it works.
