A toilet consisting of a boiler, a trap door and a knob.

Mediterranean scrub

A little tip on how to make good looking vegetation for Mediterranean style islands/buildings using the "WorldEdit" plugin.

Fire alarm

A button behind a pane of glass. Pressing the button opens a hatch in the ceiling from which water runs, the Redstone torch flashes and you hear an alarm sound.

Nether overworld

An area in the Nether that should be as close to the overworld as possible in terms of design.
Because of the water and grass, this idea doesn't translate well into survival mode.

Colorful wall

A colourful wall made of wool that makes a good change from normal walls.

Portal Room

One room for several portals. These all have the same goal and therefore no practical use, but it looks nice.
Unfortunately, you need a lot of Obsidian, which makes the idea more suitable for Creative mode.

Anti-monoculture

Clearly more beautiful than monotonous fields are mixed gardens. However, these have the disadvantage that they yield less and are harder to harvest. Therefore, they are more suitable if you already have enough food through another source.

Pictures describing the place

You can use the pictures to "label" places or buildings. For example, you can put a picture of a pickaxe at the mine entrance, a book at the library, a bed at your house, crops in the fields, and so on.

Mine entrance lighting with lava

An ideal illumination of the mine entrance with the help of lava. The lava flows behind a glass wall. The lava is much brighter than torches would be and you only need one lava bucket as the lava flows down.

Wall clock or map

A clock or a map of a beautiful place in a picture frame.
